Help with creating a TV Ident.

Hello,

I need to complete a school project, which involves designing and creating a TV ident. Designing isn't a problem, I can work in Photoshop very well but when it comes to animating everything,  Flash 8 literally does my head in. I don't understand it, and we don't really get taught how to use it, because our teachers are... silly, to say nicely, so I need to figure it all out by myself.

The ident needs to be quite simple I would imagine, do you know any tutorials that would help me?

All I need is probably some cool effects to apply to my text and images and also add music somehow.

I literally beg for some help, I need to have this done...
