Help with scripting a calander

Right! I have this calander which I need to add event's to. The calander work's fine but when I add an event I'm lost as to what script I need to put on it to highlight just one date in any given month! Hear's the url:

After going to the home page goto the calnder button (top left) and you see what I mean, I hope?

Yes I can! But if you move to the next month you will see that the event stay's in the same place. That is wear the problem lies!

You seem to be able to hilite a date just fine? Not sure what you are after.
I would ask however, what about events that span multiple days? What about
events that span multiple months - such as a three day event that satrts on
the last of a given month? Your calendar should show these events as well...
