Help with snap to object.

All elements are not symbols and I have 'Snap to Objects' selected. When I select the black line and try to attach it on the corner of the white box, the line does eveything but snap to the corner. I've been using Flash for 15 years and this is the first time I've encountered this issue. I must have hit a hotkey that screwed everything up. Please help.

i don't think the kind of snapping you're looking for ever worked. you can snap the top and bottom boundaries of your line to the top, bottom and sides of your square's boundaries.
