what do you mean by "edit" a datagrid cell?

Sorry for not being specific....

The cell in which i have loaded the Movieclip & TextField..I want to edit that cell's label..
but as I have loaded two components in the cell so it treats them as an object so I cant do editable (true)..

I'm thinking for the solution of when I click on that cell I temporarily create one textField and take user input in that & then set that value to the original textFiled.

Any other solution....??

your question about tabindex use in a custom component is too specific to your situation to give an answer. i'd have to go through your code to devise a solution.

I got the solution..

Now I have one another question....

How I can edit datagrid cell in which MovieClip & label is loaded...(hope this is not too specific..)
I have loaded MovieClip & label using cellrenderer property....
