how do i get rid of this effect when im using the transform tool

I really don't like this effect when im using the transform tool and i want to get rid of it, is there an option to turn this off?

Legend

You can press Ctrl+Shift+E or choose View > Hide Edges from the menu.

Also, if the shape is a Drawing Object it will not look like this when selected.
