how do i recover crash/unsaved file in adobe animate 2024?

hi guys. so i was working on a file animation for 4 hours and it was 2 mins but then adobe crashed. i tried going back to the file but all the stuff i did was gone. i was crying and panicking. do you guys know how i can recover my crashed/unsaved file?

    and learn to prevent this by saving your work frequently with increasing version numbers appended to your saves.  periodically close and reopen your most recent version to confirm it's not corrupted.

      for win users, open C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\<animate version>\en_US\Configuration\AutoRecoverFilenames.txt and see if there was a saved file and, if so, check the folder location listed

       

      for mac users, check the folder (for a file with name recover_) where the fla was saved. if the fla wasn't saved, i think you're out of luck, but you can still search your computer for "recover_"
