Hi,

I am loading images from mysql into flash using php, I need to make thumbnails out of these images, so they need to be resized as they are loaded in and then displayed to one set size. Does anyone have any ideas?

thanks

Gavin

i thought it was _xscale & _yscale?

if what you need is "one set size", then use _width & _height.

use either the _scaleX and _scaleY properties or the _width and _height propeties to resize the image.

For both ways it is important to wait until the image has been loaded completely, otherwhise you might run into problems. So wait for the onLoadInit event of the MovieClipLoader
