How to create a draggable & bouncing ball?

For school I have to create a small flash game. Now I want to make a game which involves a little ball. I want to be able to drag this ball around, throw it and make it bounce (just like a bouncing ball).

I've been googling a lot, since I don't have a lot of experience in flash programming. Almost all the stuff I find about this subject is in AS2, well the problem is, I NEED to use AS3 for school, I'm not allowed to use AS2.

So I googled a on AS3 gravity etc., but not a lot comes up..

Is there someone who can help me with this?
