how to find were your work is being auto saved too if its not in the temp file

Question

was drawing and then i accidently clicked something it closed the app so i tried to get my work back so i went to open recent but it wasn't there and now i cant find my work so i went to the temp file but the only thing i saw in there was my old work from a year ago

so how can i find all of those files that were auto saved if there not in the temp file

for an auto-recovery file: open AutoRecoverFilenames.txt* and see if there was a saved file and, if so, check the folder location listed

win: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\<animate version>\en_US\Configuration

mac: Users/<username>/Application Support/Adobe/<animate/flash version>/en_US/Configuration/

otherwise, click file > save as > and note the directory. that's where recent saves are located.
