how to link into flash from HTML

We have a site, entirely made in flash. We link it to another page with the same navigation and look but HTML instead. I now what to make the HTML-Navigation work and bring me not only to the index.html with flash embeded, but deeper into the flash side. I know, this is done via getParameters in the URL.
How do I read the getParameters into Flash with an onLoad statemant?
