How to make a playhead play button using action script 3?

Is there a way to make a playhead, so when it hits the movieclip thats on the timeline it plays the same movieclip in the preview box?

As seen in in this in the picture below.

I don't know what you mean by "make a playhead" that "hits the movieclip", though chances are whatever you want to do is probably doable. The image doesn't really help explain anything.

ok in the image these movie clips placed on the timeline....now i want to make the play button play all the of the movie clips in that timeline in a sequence with in my preview box... hope that gives you a better idea of what im trying to do

Not really, but if you want something to happen in each frame of the timeline, then put code in each frame that has a movieclip to play that movieclip in the box, then have each movieclip situated where that box is and tell it to play when you reach that frame.
