How to open Adobe CS4 Flash .dmp file?

Question

I have a flash.dmp file 405,717 KB that I cannot open. I tried opening with Visual Studio 2017, but it kept asking me what app do you want to use to open this file. I tried opening it Adobe Flash out of curiosity, it didn't work. I tried following these instructions; https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/d5zhxt22.aspx; Either;

- I failed to follow instructions and exhausted my patience.

- Followed instructions, but to no success.

- There's no way to open this file.

I apologize for not responding in a timely manner.

I am investigating the unexplained file size jumps of saved projects. On the end of each day, I save a project and log data into regular text file. Upon reviewing my logs, program settings, etc., I still can't figure it out.
