HTML5 animation lag on large screen

Dear all,

I'm new to Adobe Animate, and I've recently made a 40 seconds 24-FPS animation using HTML5 Canvas for presentation at work.

The output is smooth on laptop, but when I open the webpage on large screen it becomes super laggy...

it's like the whole animation is played in slow motion on large screen.

I've tried combining layers together to see if it can solve the issue but didn't work, and I couldn't seem to find any options that can optimise the performance of the animation.

If anyone knows how to fix this please kindly advise me, any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi SsuChen

Adobe advises to use the Publish Setting => Export document as texture for animation performance reasons. Have you done that? And if so set the Resolution under image Settings to the highst value: 3.0.

Make sure it's not to big in size. The lower the MB, the better the smoothness.

Thank you for your reply!

I read about this method before, but somehow I couldn't find that option in my publish setting.

I did uncheck the Combine image assets into spiresheets option as instructed by Adobe Help but the export as texture option still didn't appear...

Any other thoughts?

SsuChen,

which version of Animate are you using? The option to Export document  as texture was first available in Animate version 19.0.
