Hue Slider on AIR for Android not working

Hello everyone, I'm in a bit of a predicament. The slider I made using the tutorial from http://active.tutsplus.com/tutorials/effects/adjust-the-color-properti es-of-an-image-using-actionscript-3/, doesn't work when testing on mobile devices. It works on the computer, but not on mobile devices through AIR. The slider slides, but doesn't change the images hue, why? Am I missing something?
