I am trying to control the movie clip timeline animation using gotoAndPlay

Hi Team,

I am new to Adobe Animate and I am trying to create a banner using canvas I have few animated movie clips I want to animate one after one. for Eg Movie_1 at last frame, I gave this.Movie_2.gotoAndPlay(2);

but it is not working the same thing is working when I give that on click or mouseover. please let me know what I need to do and where I need to change the code.
