I can't hear any audio on Adobe Animate!

I'm trying to use Adobe Animate for the first time, you see. But when I try to put an audio file into the timeline, I can't hear it! I've tried setting the Sync to Stream, seeing if there was a setting for where the audio can be outputed, and some other things, but nothing has worked so far! Does anyone think that they know what the problem that I might be talking about is and have any suggestions?

Has to be set to 'Stream' and must be 16-bit 44100 Hz before import, ideally PCM WAV.

Check your source file in an audio application, convert and import again.

(If you like, download the EDAPT Movie Template, which already has a suitable audio in it, to test if that plays, to rule out hardware issues with your sound settings/audio output.)

Sweet jumping jacks, it worked! Thank you sooooo much! Who would’ve guessed I was using too many bits?! I was worried I would be cursed for TOO long!
