I can't import audio files to animate

So when I try to import my audio to the library, I get this error sign. I tried it with a random .wav file and got the same error sign. Does anybody know what to do to fix this?

i get this error sometimes

i would suggest converting it to WAV and then importing it

if the audio file is low pitch or high pitch, then mess with the pitch of the original audio file until it sounds good

Please tell us you're joking and that you've never actually done this.

If the pitch of audio changes when imported, it means it imported wrong. Either the bitrate or sample rate was too high for Animate to handle correctly.
