Question

I have a Flash CS6 installer, I want to copy my old frame by frame animations

A lot of early Flash was just animations with nothing more complex than stop();. I have lots of aniamtions I would like to reuse by copying and pasting them into an AS3 document for MP4 output.

I have the CS6 installer but I am encountering errors trying to install on a Windows 10 PC, and the installer I have for Mac says that the installer does not work with Catalina

Has anyone successfully reinstalled Flash CS6 on a PC lately, or have any ideas as to what my installation issues might be, and how to cicumvent them.

You'll need a 32-bit OS. Your Win 10 OS is likely 32-bit. See this Apple article - mainly because it may make you at least smile...

That just makes me mad. Brackets AKA Adobe Edge Code also does not work on Catalina. And Sublime is not comparable.

Animate for Windows should open your AS2 FLA files without any difficulty.

It only displays a little warning and that's all.

Animation will be intact.
