Im having a problem with the brush tool

Hello, im having a problem with the brush tool or my drawing pad in adobe animate. everytime i try and draw with my drawing pad it makes straight lines from the top left of the canvas. it works using the mouse just not the drawing tablet. I thought it was my drawing pad but it works perfectly fine in Illustrator and Photoshop thanks
