Question

Imbedding YouTube video into an Animate generated html5 file.

Can anyone advise me if it is even feasible to attempt to embed a YouTube video into a html file that was generated by Animate.

I am NOT a DW expert, however I do know how to do some things.  I used the video component in the Animate file and uploaded my video (mp4) onto my server.  From what I understand, those steps are the equivalent of embedding a file from YouTube, however, there is a lag which I don't seem to get when I embed from YouTube.

Any thoughts would be helpful. Please remember that the html was generated by Animate and not from scratch by me.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

there's always going to be a lag if you're loading files.  that lag duration depends on your internet speed and the size of the downloaded file.

if you embed that file in the animate timeline, you'll still get a similar lag.  it just occurs when the published files are loading,
