import a photo from paint to Macromedia flash

when I copy and paste a photo from paint to Macromedia flash, I obtain a blank image

I tried to do it with GIMP but it is the same problem.

Yes and I did it, but the photo I obtain is blank so I see nothing and I can not do any modification

open in photoshop and resave as jpg or png or gif.
