Import Motion XML "Identifier" Issue

Hello I’m new to Animate,

When I try to run “Import Motion XML” command whilst selecting the symbol on the stage, It spits out an error saying:

At line 1 of file “MotionXML.jsfl”:
SyntaxError: xml is a reserved identifier

I looked up online what is causing this just to be turned towards 1 unsolved question and adobe’s help page on how to import XML files. Is there an updated version of the command?
