"Import video" option not clickable in Adobe Animate

Hello everyone, I'm relatively new to Adobe Animate. I wanted to import a video to my project, so I created a new layer an went to File - Import but the option "Import video" is not clickable. Does anyone know what could be the reason for that?

Hi.

This option is only available in AS3 documents.

In the HTML5 Canvas document, for example, you need to add a video component first (Window > Components > Video > Video) and then set your video file as the source for the component.
