Imported sounds not playing when i publish

Question

I'm working with Animate 2024 and trying to add sound to my project. I have imported the wav files and made sure they were 16 bit/ 1400. They are set to Stream. The timeline is long enough to support the duration of them. They play fine in the timeline. But when i test in browser ( im using HTML5/Java by the way) i hear no sound. Same when i publish. No sound. Even when uploaded to a live server, still no sound. I have tried multiple browers and publish settings with no luck. No youtube videos with this issue. Am i missing something? If anyone has any idea what im doing wrong or know how to fix this i would greatly appriciate it! Please help its driving me nuts!

Simple animation for a website intro. Nothing fancy. Only a few regular tweens, no motion tweens or anything. Kind of know.my way around flash i got addicted to it since Flash 5 when it was not the beast it is now. I would have figured thia out if it was still all about Action Scripts and SWF's. This has me stumped! And it sux because i thw type of guy that qont rest until i figure it out or if kills me! I have already lost a few days of sleep over it! I might have to get a Script for Anbian. Lol Any ideas? Any other info i can provide to help?
