Importing a GIF turns some frames green

I tried to import a GIF and was planning on manually putting it together, but some of the frames were tinted green, i tried to drag it in directly from the desktop but that didn't seem to work either.
The GIF of Giga Queen i'm using to show the problem is different from the sprite i first encountered the problem with, this was the first one i could find that also showed the issue.

You're right, I imported your "before" GIF and I'm having the same problem. My guess is that it has something to do with the "alpha channel" that Animate can't read right. GIFs don't actually have an apha channel as such but they can designate an 8 bit color to be used as transparency.

A workaround could be splitting the GIF into a PNG sequence using https://ezgif.com/split

Then import the frames and select Distribute to Keyframes.
