Importing dynamic flash paypal shopping cart in to my main flash file issues?

Hi All,

I am undertaking the build of a flash site for the last assignment in my 2 yr ICT foundation degree and I am trying to integrate a paypal shopping cart that I decided to purchase the script, however the support isn't the best from the person due to his time limitations and I'm no further down the road to getting this integrated.

It's basically from what I can understand a standalone paypal shopping cart that acts dynamically and therefore I am trying to find out how I can import this paypal shopping cart script in to my main flash site file and in effect end up with this cart script showing in a certain frame on my stage, which if you look at this screenshot of my stage;

In effect I'm wanting to import somehow this script, in to the "Prices & Info" section (page) which happens to be frame 30 but each way I've tried from researching on the net on my own has failed.

If I can find some kind person(s) to help me integrate this directly in to my own flash site / file, I could send you the script directly so you can have a look at exactly how it works and maybe then you can make more headway than I seem to be able to.

It would be very much appreciated indeed for any help, guidance or offers of help to get me completed with this issue.

that script may not even work any more.  it looks like it's 4 years old and paypal has changed its api since that script was written.

Hi kglad,

Well that's a bummer, I wish they'd have notified of this on their script before selling it to unsuspecting people like myself.

As I'm not actually wanting to connect with this script directly to paypal though, it's just to showcase a shopping cart in the flash site, would this not mean I can still try to integregrate this dynamic shopping cart flash script and see whether it will give me what I need?

If so, can you help me to pull it in from the dynamic script file on to my own flash file / sites stage at all please?

Do you know of any more recent flash compatable shopping cart scripts by any chance? As I need to get this included and the assignment is due in next Wednesday

that could easily take hours of effort which i don't do via the adobe forums where i offer free help.

it would be easier to make your own shopping cart: initialize an object that stores item names and cost when an add-to-cart button is clicked.
