In CC Animate I get straight lines at the start of brush strokes

As the title says. Happens when using fast strokes. Makes roughing out and sketching unbearable. I've tried new and older drivers from wacom. Reinstalling cc animate and even tried a older version (cc 5.5) and same issue.

I recently updated my whole system and everything is up to date. With my older system this same thing happened sometimes but it went away pretty fast so it never bothered me but now it doesn't go away. This only happens when using flash/animate. The pen works perfectly fine on my other drawing softwares.

I'd appreciate any help I can get.

Windows 10 home 64 bit

i7-8700k

cintiq 13

The team confirmed what I said previously. We have seen this issue on Surface Pro but not on Wacom Devices. If you have updated all your drivers and you are on the latest version of Adobe Animate, you shouldn't be seeing this issue. I understand that none of what I said is particularly useful, and am hoping that someone here on this forum can reproduce your issue and let us know.

Thanks,

Hi.

Y'know, I had the exact same problem but with the Huion Kamvas GT-220.

I managed to fix the issue by unchecking the box next to Enable Windows Ink in its settings.

After I unticked the box, the issue of having those annoying straight lines vanished.

I think it had something to do with a conflicting signal between the ANCC and Windows Ink software - my pen couldn't make up its mind!

Hope you managed to fix your issue - happy drawing!

Thanks for trying to help.

I gave up and went back to my old pc. Previously I had no issues except now the same problem occur there also. So I guess my 5 year old cintiq or the pen is finally starting to break down.

Weird thing is though it only does it in cc animate/flash. I tried latest and old drivers/softwares with or without my settings in 2 different pc's (windows 10 and windows 7) So I think I have covered it all.  So that's why this is all so bizarre...

Anyways I ordered a new tablet, hoping it will finally resolve this.

I haven't heard of other Wacom users with this issue of late. Let me check with the team and get back to you.

Thanks,
