Insert markers in a video file and read these with as3

I need to embed markers in a video file and use this video file in Animate  CC 2017.

In the past I did  this with FLV and a previous version of media encoder.

Is there anyway to insert markers in some video file and then import video and markers  in  Animate CC 2017?

I need to read/use the markers with as3 in Animate CC 2017.

Thanks.

you can add cuepoints using as3 to any video if you're using an flvplack component using the addASCuePoint method and you can add cuepoints to flv/f4v using adobe media encoder if you use the cs6 media encoder,

yes, you can use your cc desktop app to install previous versions (just past the 1/2 point down the page is a walk-through showing how to install previous versions, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/download-install-app.html).

unfortunately, ame cs6 was not offered as a stand-alone program so to install it you have to install some other cs6 program that includes ame. eg, installing flash cs6 will also install ame cs6.
