inserting new keyframe converts symbol to object and won't allow tweening (VIDEO INCLUDED!)

So i'm trying to produce a simple classic tween like i've done a million times before and now adobe animate seems to no longer be able to do that because the symbol i'm moving turns into a drawing object as soon as I create a new keyframe.      Here's a video of it happening.

Also, is there any other program out there that i can transfer my animatecc info to to finish this project? i've struggled for the past 3 months without making progress on my project due to all the bugs stoppng me. I'd love to continue to pay for and use adobe animate as it's served me well up until the last few months, but now I cant get a single thing done. I'm serously pulling my hair out, all i want is to be able to finish the stupid video!

    I'm 99.9% sure there's some other artwork present on that mouse layer and that's what's causing the popup that is warning you that you don't want to add a motion/classic tween.
    Here's how I know;
    You click on the mouse symbol and the mounding box is tight around the mouse. But when you click on a frame, the bounding box gets really wide. That's because there's something still present in this layer that is not inside the mouse symbol.

    Here's the fix:
    Select JUST the mouse symbol. Cut it and paste to a new layer. You will likely see the original layer is still solid indicating something else still exists. Convert the original layer to outlines to help you find it.

    When you do, determine if you need it or delete the layer entirely.

    Go to the new layer containing JUST the mouse symbol and happy tweening.

    This is not a bug. This is just a case of AnCC telling you what it should based on you having more than 1 symbol on that layer.
