interactive project

Hi all, 

I'm looking at creating a background that when I press a number live, it will appear in a box on the screen and then go to a smaller box on the screen, So to translate that into English...

Imagine a game of Bingo and the caller calls a number,

That number appears live on the screen which can be input from a laptop and then stays on the screen in its appropriate box, 

Hopefully, that makes sense, 

I'm not sure even where to start with this type of project or even if Adobe is the correct software to create it,
