IOS publishing problems (GPU vs CPU)

Hello everybody,

This is the second time I'm running into problems with ios publishing..

I am using iOS 5 beta 6 and flash cs5.5 with air 2.7, and rendering via gpu suddenly didn't work anymore(it is very slow on the iPad with a lot of lag and crashes).
This problem only seems to exist on the iPad since on my iPhone 3g the very same apps are running fluently.
I'm guessing this is some kind of bug either from adobe or apple but I like to see it fixed.

Anyone got more info on this?

Is anyone experiencing the same problem?

When did you switch to AIR 2.7? Have you tried CPU instead? With 2.7 the sampe optimizations to run on GPU don't hold true anymore, and CPU can be used much more frequently.

If GPU was working with 2.7 then you must've changed something...

I switched about a month ago and i'm using CPU now since that is a little better, on the iphone however GPU works like a charm.

It could be that the IOS 5 beta for ipad is conflicting with air or that it is bugged since every other device I own running the IOS 5 beta works perfect.
