Question

Is it even possible to open animate files in after effects for the sake of exporting it to Lottie?

Hi all,
I have some animations I did in ANIMATE (all vector materials) and I was asked to export them as Lottie files for the web. As I understand it's not possible to export ANIMATE to Lottie directly, I tried to open one of those Animated files in After Effects and then tried to export it to Lottle, only I don't see anything. Is it even possible? Someone tried that?
It will be way too much work to remake those vanimations again from scratch in AE for me.

After Effects only projects the SWF from Animate, it doesn't know what the contents are which means it's impossible to make a Lottie file from it.

I'm sorry to say but you'll have to redo the entire animation in After Effects.
