Is it illegal to have macromedia flash 8 from a third party website?

I am looking for a good animation software that is free and that doesn't have free trials. When I saw I could still download macromedia flash 8 off of third party websites, I wondered to myself: "would it be illegal to do this?" Which is why I'm asking this question.

i don't think that answer is clear because adobe used ro make that available for free.  otoh, adobe no longer has that available so, on balance, i'd have to say it's probably not legal (especially if that website has other illegal or questionable content).
