Hello there, I was browsing some templates on TM.com and alot of websites have these into effects and transition effects that I'm not really sure were done in Flash, so here's an example: http://www.templatemonster.com/flash-templates/25393.html

Was this actually done in Flash? (I mean this round particle explosion thing effect)

If you right click on a Flash item in a web page you will normally get a different menu than when you right click a non-Flash section of a web page containing html.  THe meni is normally much shorter and has Flash indicated in it.

In that case it is made in flash... but how are these effects achieved using flash and actionscript? or is it possible that they were made using software like Adobe After Effect then imported into flash? what do you think?

Striker, if the "effect" you are talking about is the yellow lightning / light going around the orange ring - That is a video that is playing in the flash swf.  The windows moving forward and backward when you click on them are movie clip or sprite instances that have their z-order brought to front that tweened into place, while the ones behind it move back and away.

If you want to know how to create the effect used in the background video, you should look into 3d modeling/lighting and video effects-- that is not MADE with flash, just displayed by flash.
