LAYER PROPERTIES WINDOW TO STICK TO CORRECT MONITOR

Hello Animate Community,

 

Does anyone know to how to make the layer properties window open up on the Cintiq monitor side? Whenever I double click the layer icon to view properties, it opens up on my other monitor. I'd like for it to open on my Cintiq monitor.

 

Any advice out there?

    Hi mate,

     

    I don't use multi-monitor setup because I dislike working with multiple displays, so I have very limited experience with this kind of issues, but wouldn't this be more of a problem that has to be sorted out at OS level, with some desktop manager application. I remember years ago nVidia had a checkbox in their control panel about where to open new windows.

     

    A quick search online showed me this:

    Until you try it yourself it's difficult to tell if it will deliver the expected results.

     

    If you're on a mac, I have no idea.
