loadVariables Headache

OK, I give up! I have tried most everything and am just not finding the correct solution.
I am trying to load and run an ASP script from a Flash Document and it just wont run?

My code is: “loadVariables("SendCode.asp",0,"GET");”

The ASP script works as written as I ran it directly from a browser.

It seems as if the loadVariables command is where my problem lies but I can’t figure it out.
Stepping through the code in debug mode produces no errors what-so-ever?

Help please!

then flash is not using anything returned from the asp file, correct? if so, you'll need to debug in your asp file perhaps by having the asp file write to a debug file that you can inspect to see what's being tranfered from flash correctly and incorrectly.

are name, email and mess defined on the timeline that contains your loadVariables() statement? what's the zero in your loadVariables() statement? (hint: remove it and retest.)

No, I can run the asp file directly (via IE6) and it does everything it is supposed to do! It really seems as if flash is NOT loading, the ASP file and thereby, allowing the script to execute. ??

Sorry for the confusion. The code is supposed to pass form variables to an MSAccess DB via the ASP script. This is what fails.

It seems (as best as I can tell) that, even though the code is being executed without error, that the ASP file is NOT being loaded and executed? I hope this makes sense.

Is there a way to test (debug) the actual loading of an external file?
