Mac High Sierra 10.13 and Animate

Been running Animate for some time with stable results.  Upgraded to Mac iOS HS 10.13 yesterday (I read somewhere that Adobe was compatible now).  Animate seems to be running like always EXCEPT, it won't publish, export, or Test in the app or Browser.  Strangest thing. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled, no change. It keeps working like normal but doesn't want anything to do with something that looks like getting the work out of the program.

Thoughts and or advice?

Don

Try copying the FLA to somewhere else, or go into Publish Settings and choose a new location for it to publish to.

In your quick test, did you do a save? If not, do that test again, only save the FLA first. If it still works, try your large FLA in the same folder as your test FLA.

If it's still not working, what kind of FLA is the large one? If it's HTML5 Canvas, try testing with the sprite sheet option turned off in publish settings.

    Colin,

I did not save.  The problem file is an   action script 3 file.  However, i called up an    html5 file that had a small    portion of the same animation.  Had both files open at the same time.  Tested the html5 and it passed.  Went back to the large FLA and it now works!?

I'm glad that it's working but I don't like not knowing what happened.  I've spent most of the day on this.  You jogged me out of the DO loop!

    Thanks

    Don

Try a new FLA, or check your publish location. It could be somewhere that was fine before, but not with 10.13.

Thanks Colin, your suggestion made things interesting. I created a new doc, made something simple,  and test and export stuff seems to be working!

But, I have this major scene 1 animation fla that isn't behaving.  So it's   something with the file..........       Any thoughts about that?

    And thanks Partner...
