Macromedia Flash/Adobe Animate - a Quality port for the iPad Pro
I got into macromedia flash mx back in the day as a young teen, I studied and created in that program for thousands of hours growing up. I always wanted a cintiq but its price deterred me, the ipad pro has seriously caught my interest, especially the rumored 2018 model.
I looked into Adobe's iOS apps and nothing of a flash/animate equivalent exists, at least to my knowledge.
Adobe could make it and the ipad pro could handle it, at least something similar. Actionscript could be done without, maybe keep a basic form of it, like 2.0 or whatever works (I know basic 2.0 like the back of my hand, haven't used it really in close to decade.)
The animation and design of the flash mx-flash 8 were my focus for so long, and I thought it was the perfect amount of UI complexity and intuitiveness that made it work so well for so many.
So with all of that said and the financial gains adobe could reap, (I would easily pay $50-$200 for a quality port equivalent)
It could open up a whole generation of young and old to a program that has launched so many artists currently leading the creative culture in this world, a true testament to Adobes quality contributions for the creative world.
Please let me know what you think and if you support such a thing so adobe will hopefully heed the call.
