Magnet - attract / repulse?

Working on a little idea and having trouble finding any reference material on programming attraction / repulsion as if by a magnet. Anyone know any resources?

    Attraction, repulsion should be manageable with Tweens, as long as you need no deformation of attracted objects, and no real physics.
