Merge Layers

Hey,

 

Does anyone know of any plug ins or code that can copy frames from multiple layers and paste into the same spot in the layer below effectivly merging the layers into one, at the moment im doing it by hand which is very tim consuming

    Hi.

     

    Have you tried selecting the layers you want to merge, right-clicking an choosing Merge Layers from the context menu?

      Thanks, Yes i tried this but it converts them all to a symbol, would there be a way to keep them as shapes so i can fill and edit them still

      To me it seems to only be making them into Drawing Objects, not Symbols.

      Just choose Edit Multiple Frames and Break Apart everything on the merged layer.
