Question

Motion gfx presentation

I am wondering if Animate would be good for the following project: I have a few large boxes and with the click of a mouse, a smaller box extends out of the larger box. The presenter talks about the word on the small box for a few minutes, then they click again and the small box recedes back into the large. box.

Is this possible in Animate? Or would AE be the better software?

Thanks!!

    Hi.

Animate is the perfect fit for it.

AE can't do it because it can't create interactive experiences by default/design.

    Regards,

    JC

Great thanks for the clarification. And the .mov file that animate exports includes the embedded links?

    no.

no video file is interactive.  you'll publish an html (and ancillary files), swf or air file.

    animate would work.

what you use depends on what you're trying to create.

basically a presentation that can activate motion by clicking on the image. The image will be a photoshop or illustrator document.

its basically a powerpoint presentation but instead of slides that are moved through, the frame would include a handful of boxes. And when the boxes are clicked on, action happens.
