i have now made my flash ac movie when run there is a movie clip and stars burst from behind it whereever it is on the screen like a trail, but i cnt implement a motionguide! it just stops so i take it it cant be done? how else could i do it other than actionscripting a course bit by bit.?

what actionscript? are you using actionscript to change some movieclip property like its _alpha, _rotation, _x, _y etc? if so, your timeline tween will stop.

the movie clipthat i try to tween has got actionscript attatched to it yes and thats it so far i dont know what to do is there any special way of doin it?

are you using actionscript targeting your tweening movieclip? if so, depending upon what property you're changing, you may kill the tween. otherwise, you're not tweening correctly.
