Hi, I am in desperate need for a shortcut, that can move a layer up or down in Timeline, like it's possible in Photoshop.

I couldn't find any command or extension that does it.

Anybody? thanks.

Exactly, all I asked about, was a way to move layers with keyboard shortcuts. I know why I need it - 12 years of Flash animation production supervision and 2 years of teaching Flash is enough for me to know why I am asking  - trust me. If I would start explaining everything I do and how, we would never get to the point. It was one simple question, without any need to undermine the way our workflow has to be run...

Ok then, well it's not currently possible... Suggest the 'feature' here.

I couldn't figure out what the keyboard shortcuts were for Photoshop, but found them online (command [ and ]). I seem to have managed all these years without know that!

Do you need to move layers much? Is there something about just dragging them to the right layer that doesn't work?

Since you have to use the mouse to click on a layer to select it in the first place, it does seem a peculiar request.

not at all - a command like that should be available as soon as a layer gets selected, just like any other action that can be done only on selected layers. considering that a new layer becomes selected automatically by default, a command like that sounds absolutely logical. Besides - you don't have to click a mouse to select a layer. there are more ways, including an extension I'm using to do that...

doesn't look doable with shortcuts or jsfl.
