Movieclip is masked but still showing same width

Hi,

I have a moveclip with 300x900 content in it, I masked these content into this movieclip with 300x250 shape mask, infect I masked the content into this movieclip but it still showing height 900px it is not showing rest content but showing height by that i am unable to align this content dynamically. Is there any solution for this..?

Your images do not show a problem. The masked content displayed in the blue area of your second image would be correct. Only what is behind the small masked area will be shown, but that does not affect the dimensions of the movieclip being masked. The movieclip will remain the full size it is.

sorry I cant share original data, Here I made new file 500x400 and you can see Into a movieclip I have put a car pix it's 1170 in height and I have mask this pix from 200x100 px shape on root on stage when i trace root movieclip height showing output 1170 you can see screenshot 2
