Movieclip sounds plays even after putting stopall

I have added a movieclip in my project at the first scene. i have added SoundMixer.stopAll(); at the button to go to the different scene and the sound did stop. However when i click another button at different scene the Movieclip sound started playing again. How do i avoid or fix this.

After calling stopAll(), additionally use soundTransform to set the volume to 0 to completely stop sound playback.

what exact code are you using and does it execute after the sound starts?

you have to stop the sound each time it's started or remove the sound listener (if you used code to start the sound).
