Must Reinstall Adobe Animate EVERY TIME I Quit the App

I am working on a big project in Adobe Animate. Everytime I quit the application and then go to restart it, it errors and will not start. The only solution I have found is to delete the app and reinstall it. Which as you might guess is a pain in the butt. I am about to run Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and see if that helps. Will let you know if it does. Looking for any and all suggestions.

This type of unexpected application behavior is usually indicative of a larger problem.

If what @Joseph Labrecque recommends does not resolve the issue, I would install macOS and only Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop and Adobe Animate on an external hard drive to see if you can get Animate to quit and relaunch as expected.  You can use a USB thumb drive for this, but if faster storage media is available use it instead.  There's a chance that something else is causing this behavior and starting with just the OS and the application allows for ruling that out.  It could be a conflict with a font, an application extension, a source footage file, another application running in the background, a system driver, etc.

If the problem persists with a clean install and just the application in question, you'll want to run hardware diagnostics, starting with the Apple Hardware Test.  You'll need to check with the Apple Support web site for how to do this with your model Mac.

So far the Cleaner seems to have fixed it. I have not restarted. If it starts up after a Mac restart I will know I am good.

I spoke too soon. After restarting, I am back to having to uninstall and reinstall.

You could try installing on a different user profile on your OS  that'll tell whether it it is your system or a user profile issue.
