My animation went missing!?!?

I had an animation i had been working on for atleast 2 weeks, but i had recently got a pc and began to use it a lot more and kinda stopped paying for the subscription on my laptop for a month. . . But, i decided to get back into that animation and payed for the subscription again, i opened my laptop wanting to transfer my data over, but the file is now completely missing!!! I HEAVILY recall constantly saving the file whenever i had the chance while animating, yet for some reason it has vanished . . . does anyone know of a way to recover my work?
