My Characters are Glitching

So, after successfully animating my first character, the rest are glitchy in a sense that they become blocks and some parts disappear (please see attached picture).  This happens after copy & pasting it from adobe illustrator.  I don't know why and dunno what to do.  Please help me.  I'm a newbie in Animate.  Thank you.
