My pen works normally, but not when I am using the software

So basically,
whenever my pen is outside of Animate 2018, it works just fine and moves, WITH ANYTHING REALLY.
But when I am trying to use the software with my pen, it doesn't even move ONCE, it will absolutely not budge.
It is impossible for me to animate with this issue now,
any suggestions on how to fix it?

Can you tell us the pen tablet model you're using?

Ok first make sure you have the latest Huion Drivers for your model, that can solve various compatibility issues.

Animate 2018 didn't have Windows Ink support, only for WinTab (windows API for pen data) so newer tablets might not support it. Adobe added support for it from Animate 2020 onwards.

Try looking in your tablet settings for an option to disable Windows Ink if it's available, if not you will probably need to update your Animate version.
