need attachMovie to load dynamic text based on comboBox status

Question

I am evaluating Flash now, just had this for a couple weeks
and deciding if this is too complicated or not. After a couple
days...I can't figure out how to pass the status of the combo box
to the dynamic text boxes using attachMovie or pass variables. . I
think I grabbed
this text from inside the help pages to configure the combo
box. I am sure this is just a quick thing I am overlooking.

I have linkage set right and instance names right...everything works
After attachMovie loads the file from the library the comboBox selects the correct language. It does not select the first language until another language is selected.
It is just the initial state of the dynamic text is empty....
